A race meeting took place in Greenstreet on Friday 5th October 1792 followed by an Ordinary at the Swan Inn served after racing. However, it is uncertain whether this was near the Dover Castle Inn or the Smithfield area of Dublin where the Green Street Gaol was built in 1792 on the site of the old Newgale Gaol.
